Through the Cincy grapevine, I’ve heard that people are generally confused by one of the best, most active artists living in our region — Jay Bolotin. His exhibition, The Jackleg Testament, opened at the Contemporary Arts Center some three years ago to both critical acclaim and serious confusion.
The Jackleg Testament, along with its amazing and unique woodprint opera, has traveled to San Diego, Omaha and now to the Vanderbilt Art Museum. Bolotin was in Nashville at the end of February for the opening.
This Bolotin interview is for everyone who wants to know a little more about the “Man Out of Time.”
