Metal on the Square?

In the current CityBeat, I wrote a bit about how Fountain Square is looking for music videos by local bands to show on the huge video screen above Macy’s. Sadly, not many local bands seem to have any kind of videos for their music.

A few weeks before, we did a feature on Beneath the Sky, a Cincy-based Metalcore band who signed to well-known Victory Records (their album, What Demons Do to Saints, came out late last month). Let’s play match-maker: Here’s a video (for the band’s song “7861,” which was filmed in Pittsburgh just prior to the CityBeat interview) for the big TV. Too much for conservative Cincinnatians?
