A Quiet Night

This doesn’t happen very often. Instead of death, violence, robbery and mayhem, the Cincinnati Police Department’s morning media alert had nothing to offer this morning.

“This is Jim Blake, night-shift supervisor at Cincinnati Police Communications,” this morning’s message said. “It’s Thursday the 25th, 5:34 a.m. Overnight, none of the five districts had anything of interest to report.”
